Hawaiian Cruise Ship Travel –
A Dream Comes True

By Teri Champigny

A cruise ship travel holiday to Hawaii is a dream for most and many do not get an opportunity to explore these islands in their lifetime. Well, if you have decided that your next holiday destination is Hawaii, time to get planned and get set.

The Starting Points Get online and check for the cruises, which offer packages to Hawaii. If you are a resident of the United States, you probably will not have a tough time finding a cruise ship travel, because from the US alone there are about a hundred different cruises which sail to the Hawaii everyday.

Vancouver and San Diego are some of the location from which ships set sail. If you want to explore all the Hawaiian Islands, you probably would need 18 to 20 days. There are cruises which offer month long packages as well. In these packages, you can go through the entire length and breadth of Hawaii.

Water Sports:

Get set to halt and explore the islands of Oahu, Hawaii, Kauai and Maui. Apart from the various activities that you can pursue in a cruise like lazing around on your private deck, sipping your favorite drink while watching the sun go down and shopping around, the on ground activities will interest you more. There are so many water sports that you can pursue here. You can go snorkeling, scuba diving; check out coral reefs in a glass-bottomed boat and even go underwater in a submarine. If that is not enough you can go searching for whales off the islands of Lanai, because it is the favorite spot where humpback whales come to spend their winter after spending their summer in Alaska.

Adventure sports in Hawaiian Cruise Ship Travel:

You have multiple adventure sports that you can pursue on ground. From exploring the dormant volcanoes of Mauna Kea to mountain biking or hiking in the rain forests of Kauai, you wont get enough of Hawaii. You can turn adventurer or simply laze around on the beach. The island of Kilauea is a major tourist attraction as well. The volcano is active since 1983 and has been erupting ever since. You can stay in the ship at night and watch the volcano flow into the sea. It is quite a sight.

Nightlife:

The nightlife can be quite addictive as well. There are a variety of nightclubs and bars for nightlife enthusiasts. From the moderate Pipeline Café to the 18+ Tuesday’s Velvet Lounge, there is something on offer for everyone. You can ask at the reception for the local nightclub listings.
