Carnival Cruises Excursions

The shore excursions on Carnival Cruises are amazing.  There were great excursions listed for their Caribbean cruises, their Mexican Riviera cruises, their Alaskan cruises and their European cruises.  These excursions try to enhance vacations in various ways.  Some excursions are just meant to be fun and not educational.  Other Carnival Cruises excursions draw from local culture and history to provide a truly educational experience.

On their Caribbean cruises, Carnival Cruises offers a shore excursion that features cave tubing.  People that take advantage of this excursion get to observe cave formations in limestone caverns.  This excursion even includes a 45 minute hike on a rain forest path.  It is recommended that participants in this Carnival Cruises excursion bring dry clothing to change into.

You are able to experience gold fever when you take an excursion from a Carnival Cruises Alaskan cruise.  Juneau, Alaska has the distinction of being home to what was once the largest gold mill in the world.  The excursion offers history lessons and even lets you wear a helmet and go into a 360 foot long tunnel where mining equipment is demonstrated.  This Carnival Cruises excursion is very history intensive.

The excursions for the European Carnival Cruises are great.  The Medieval Lucca excursion is a step back in time.  Lucca is surrounded and protected by a wall that was built during the Renaissance.  There are medieval churches to see during a motor coach ride and many things to see on foot.  One of the amazing things to see on the Carnival Cruises excursion is the oval-shaped Amphitheater Square.  It is built on the foundation of an ancient Roman amphitheater and it is surrounded by majestic buildings.
